Before you get started, make sure you've got everything together in a well-lit area with a clean flatsurface to work on. Kitchen tables work really well, as they're usually well-lit and have room to spreadout. It is important to be comfortable and not cramped.

The first step is to read all of these instructions. Twice. Seriously - having patience and understanding will ensure that you get your skin or wrap installed perfectly. Although you're probably excited and can't wait to get it installed, if you rush ahead you're likely to mess up the installation and waste the beautiful new skin you're eyeing right now.

Remember that the surface MUST be clean. This is the part everyone sees,
and dirt under the skin will show up.

Surface preparation is the key - you want the areas covered by the skin to be as clean as possible before installing it. No grease, grime or anything else. We usually wipe ours down with the wipes nclosed. If you're using a ragged towel, realise that the towel will leave particles, which may show up beneath the skin, so carefully check the surfaces after you've cleaned them.

Next inspect the skins pieces. Do a mock layout and see where each piece fits. You will not get
any second chances.

With such a large surface area, the Xbox 360 skin installation can be a little tricky for just one person.

We've found it works best to have 2 people install the top piece.

Start with a clean Xbox 360 and a clean, flat working surface. Basically, you want to make sure your Xbox 360 is dry and free from any oil, dirt, or residue before beginning the skin installation.

Carefully fold back about 25mm of the backing paper, now line this edge up and get it fixed in place ensuring there are no wrinkles otherwise they will just get worse.

Whilst one of you pulls the backing paper off slowly the other needs to smooth the skin down from side to side, do not remove too much backing at once.

Gently bond the skin across the top curve from side to side pressing out any bubbles. If you do have any bubbles these can be released using a pin prick.

Once the skin is bonded firmly in place it’s now time to remove the clear application tape, do this slowly pulling backwards not upwards.

Once removed go over the skin with a dry cloth.

The 2 remaining skin pieces can be aligned and bonded by one person - just line them up carefully and smooth the skin gently to bond.
